I’ve controlled it off and on with every topical remedy out there and have been on Spironolactone for 8+ years with some success. This past summer my neck BLEW UP like I’ve never seen. I was six days away from starting Isotretnoin but I found your site and tried it as a last resort before Isotretnoin because I was worried about the side effects at my age. I used the Regimen for a month and added the AHA+ after and I’M TOTALLY FLOORED at the results. I also take your suggested vitamins: zinc, fish oil, Vit d3 and add a drop of jojoba oil to the lotion at night. My face has NEVER BEEN BETTER. You’re right, adding the AHA+ makes it perfect. I was a total skeptic about another “system” but this totally works for me and it is very affordable. Thanks!

Exercise regularly. Exercise reduces stress, improves self-esteem, and causes your brain to release feel good hormones. It is also beneficial for your skin. When you exercise, your blood circulation improves and your pores unclog due to sweat. Aim for 150 minutes of moderate (e.g. brisk walking, swimming) exercise a week or 75 minutes of vigorous (e.g. running, aerobics) exercise a week. Find activities that you enjoy doing.

We have been lulled into believing that medical science will give us a magic pill or magic potion that would solve our complexion problems. As mentioned above one of the “magic pills” (isotretinoin) is so toxic that it is now used for cancer treatments. All along we allowed the food industry to destroy our complexion by inducing an insulin and IGF-1 response that plugged up our skin pores. We can open them up by eliminating wheat and wheat products, sugar, high-glycemic foods as well as dairy products.
I didn’t have lemons so i used lime instead on my pimples and it worked great. Thank you for all the wonderful ideas. The toothpaste worked great on drying my pimples but i do not recommend it for people with sensitive skin. O and the ice really took done the swelling on my pimples.

Practitioners should discuss with the patient, and then provide in writing, the potential adverse effects, particularly teratogenicity in females. A suitable patient information is provided with the medicine by the distributor. Baseline laboratory investigations should be requested. Female patients will require advice on contraceptive options, and where necessary, be prescribed contraceptives (some will already be using oral contraceptives for managing acne symptoms). Frequently used topical retinoids include adapalene, isotretinoin, retinol, tazarotene, and tretinoin. They often cause an initial flare-up of acne and facial flushing, and can cause significant skin irritation. Generally speaking, retinoids increase the skin’s sensitivity to sunlight and are therefore recommended for use at night. Tretinoin is the least expensive of the topical retinoids and is the most irritating to the skin, whereas adapalene is the least irritating to the skin but costs significantly more. One of the characteristics of nodular acne is that its size or appearance does not always give an actual indication of its severity. The one thing that does characterize it is its appearance as a big bump or pimple – for lack of a better description. Nevertheless, this rather simplistic-sounding description doesn’t mean that if you have a large bump or pimple, it is a nodule. It can also be a cyst. One of the most common types of dermal inflammatory condition is cystic acne. Quite often, a nodule will form on top of a cyst. Once the nodule has healed however, the cyst usually remains.
For 6 –12 months after an acne breakout, stay out of the sun as much as possible to avoid making dark spots and scars worse. When you are in the sun, use an all-natural sunscreen to protect skin.
