Some patients only require one course of oral isotretinoin for complete acne remission, while others require additional courses of isotretinoin therapy. A study found 38% of the patients had no acne during 3-year follow up, and, among the remaining patients, 17% were controlled with further topical therapy, 25% with topical and oral antibiotics, and 20% with second course of isotretinoin. Relapse is more likely in younger or female patients.
It diminishes the redness and swelling and also acts as an astringent. Its antimicrobial properties clear the infection causing the pimples (8). You can use this oil to treat entire sections of your face, like the forehead or the cheeks, which are affected by pimples.
Hey guys just saying the Tea Tree oil stings your eyes A LOT! I just rubbed some on my face (make sure you dilute it first because you can get chemical burn) it works though… I’m 11 years old and I’m breaking out and I have the school dance in a few weeks and I’m going out with my crush :). Wanna be pimple free by then… HELP ME!

It’s important to understand what’s inside those acne lesions to properly treat them. When pores fill up with sebum, dead skin cells, and bacteria, the mixture causes inflammation and results in painful pimples.
The sebaceous glands or oil glands are where the acne form. These glands are more developed on the face, neck, scalp, and chest. Also, the face is more exposed to pollution and bacteria compared to the rest of the body. Both these factors work together to make acne mainly affect the face.
Nutmeg powder mixed with water when applied on scars, left on skin for 5-7min followed by washing with cold water helps lighten them to almost invisible (personally speaking, this was very beneficial)
Topical skin care products containing such ingredients as salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide and nicatinamide (also called niacinamide) can be effective for people with mild acne and are widely available without a prescription. Examples include Benzac and Papulex products.
You have a good shot at getting rid of milder, non-hormonal breakouts without a prescription. Apply a treatment with 2 percent salicylic acid, which gently exfoliates, such as Benzac Acne Solutions Intensive Spot Treatment, twice daily all over your face, or one with benzoyl peroxide, which fights the bacteria that cause zits. (We like Neutrogena Rapid Clear Stubborn Acne Spot Gel, which has the highest concentration available without a prescription.) You can also switch to a daily cleanser with at least 0.5 percent salicylic acid, such as Philosophy’s Clear Days Ahead Oil-Free Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment Cleanser. Then, every time you feel the first tingles of a new zit forming, hit the spot with a dab of antibacterial spot treatment (like that Benzac one we mentioned). Exposed Acne Treatment be patient: It can take six to eight weeks before you notice a real change in your skin.
