Acne occurs when the skin’s pores become clogged. Each pore opens to a hair follicle containing a gland that produces oil called sebum, which helps keep skin soft. These follicle-gland units are largest and most numerous on the face, upper back and chest. When the glands produce too much oil, the pores can become blocked. As a result, dirt, bacteria and dead skin cells can build up in the pores, forming the whiteheads, blackheads, pimples and other lesions that are commonly referred to as zits.

Use of medicines that may cause acne, e.g. antipsychotics or lithium. Anabolic steroids are associated with acne (particularly on the trunk), and should be enquired about if there is other evidence for this suspicion.
I’m a teenager that had extremely severe acne about 4 days ago. My acne was on both of my cheeks and the t zone. But thanks to the lemon idea they have cleared up and my face is looking much brighter! I have also been adding honey within the lemon and some nights I make an avocado paste for my face because as we know lemon does dry out the skin. I hope this helps you guys!
