Acne responds well to melalecua, more commonly known as tea tree oil. It’s used the world over as an antiseptic and to treat wounds. Like coconut oil, honey and cultured milk products, it fights bacteria and fungi.
Studies so far have focused mostly on the foods that make acne worse. Here are the five that come up most often as culprits in increasing breakouts. Avoid these for about a week, and see if you notice a difference.

Cucumber works as an anti-inflammatory, which is why people use cucumber slices to combat puffy eyes! They work just as well for pimples and will help to reduce the angry redness of them. You can make a cucumber face mask for instant effects!5
There are two big guns used to take down acne, and they’re both great at doing entirely different things. Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid that comes from willow bark and works primarily as an exfoliator, breaking down fatty acids like sebum so your pores don’t clog. (Glycolic acid works similarly, but is less effective.) These acids do their thing on comedones — whiteheads, blackheads, and other non-red bumps.
Benzoyl peroxide products are also effective against C acnes (formerly P acnes), and bacterial resistance to benzoyl peroxide has not been reported. Benzoyl peroxide products are available over the counter and by prescription in a variety of topical forms, including soaps, washes, lotions, creams, and gels. Benzoyl peroxide products may be used once or twice a day. These agents may occasionally cause a true allergic contact dermatitis. More often, an irritant contact dermatitis develops, especially if used with tretinoin or when accompanied by aggressive washing methods. If intensive erythema and pruritus develop, a patch test with benzoyl peroxide is indicated to rule out allergic contact dermatitis.
Unlike common acne, rosacea is not primarily a plague of teenagers but occurs most often in adults (ages 30-50), especially in those with fair skin. Different than acne, there are usually no blackheads or whiteheads in rosacea.
I’ve tried a number of different methods, from wipes, to scrubs to other so called sophisticated skin care products to special soaps, and of all the methods, the basic soap product has been the most effective. Which is pretty ironic when you consider it cost a mere fraction of the price of all the other things I’ve tried. Anyway, if I were to recommend anything, I’d say to watch your diet, to monitor the effects certain foods have on your body, because if you fail to do that, any kind of progress you make will be waste when you get new breakouts.
Antibiotics. For moderate to severe acne, you may need oral antibiotics to reduce bacteria and fight inflammation. Usually the first choice for treating acne is tetracycline — such as minocycline or doxycycline — or a macrolide.
Modern medicine considers mild to moderate acne an acceptable feature of growing up. If you go to your doctor for help with whiteheads, blackheads, or pimples, chances are you’ll be given a prescription for an antibiotic or benzoyl peroxide, or both, and sent on your way. If you have especially deep skin infection causing nodules or cysts, you may be put on Retin-A or Accutane, and if you have the more aggressive forms of acne that cause pimples to grow together all over the top half of the body (acne conglobata) or the kind of acne that results from the immune system’s attack on an ingrown hair (acne keloidalis nuchae), you will probably get a referral to a dermatologist for laser therapy or surgical reconstruction procedures.
In addition to changing patients’ diets, Dr. Jaliman prescribes Spironolactone, a diuretic that blocks the male hormone receptors in the body to prevent the cells from absorbing testosterone, an acne-promoting androgen. “I prescribe it five to 10 times a day,” she says. Dr. Jaliman also suggests topical anti-inflammatories, antibiotics and intralesional cortisone injections for those with cystic acne who are going off the pill. All of these, she says, are safer alternatives to Accutane. “You just have to get people through that three-month adjustment period,” she says.
An acne scar is basically what remains after acne or pimples have healed. When a breakout happens, engorged or inflamed pores affect the skin, which can result to red spots, hyperpigmentation, deep pits, and even rough patches on the face.
3 Has a potential for abuse less than those in schedules 1 and 2. Has a currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States. Abuse may lead to moderate or low physical dependence or high psychological dependence.
“Pomade acne” is a breakout caused by hair-care products including conditioner, shampoo, gel, and hair spray. This form of acne occurs when oils from styling products seep into skin, usually around the hairline, and trap acne-causing bacteria in pores.

“I’ve seen a lot of people who use abrasive agents at home. People who get things off eBay or at the health food store may not get the right treatment for their skin condition,” said Dr. MacGregor. “Those products can have ingredients that cause inflammation and irritation.”
Anyone who has severe acne knows how stubborn it can be. You cannot clear it with acne treatment that you buy at the store. To see clearing, you either have to wait it out or see a dermatologist. Waiting out severe acne can take years.
What comes before the pimples even head to the surface of your skin? Though most people tend to get acne in their teens, women are more likely to suffer throughout their lives. “Acne is predominantly hormone-driven. Because of hormone fluctuations throughout your cycle, you may break out around your period or during ovulation,” Dr. Lee explains. There are also genetic components that drive how likely you are to get acne, like how oily your skin is naturally.
The topical retinoids adapalene and tretinoin are prescription only and fully subsidised (one tube at a time) for use in patients with acne. Topical isotretinoin gel is available by prescription, but is not subsidised.
Acne is a chronic condition and the most common skin problem in the United States.2 It affects both men and women, and can happen at any age.3 It is characterized by whiteheads, blackheads, and inflamed red pimples—all of which can go by the endearing term, “zits.”4,5

You can use your own fat to fill the holes. The doctors usually take it from your thighs belly. They reinject it in the depressed scars to raise the skin and improve the look of very deep scars. The downfall is the reabsorption rate. Usually 40-60% of it will be reabsorbed by your body after 6-12 months so a touch up might be necessary.
Castor oil may be a great choice for treating mild acne since it provides moisturization to the skin while helping the skin produce less sebum, which can cause acne if in excess. It also helps reduce inflammation that may be caused by acne. (21)
