Combined oral contraceptives. Four combined oral contraceptives are approved by the FDA for acne therapy in women who also wish to use them for contraception. They are products that combine estrogen and progestin (Ortho Tri-Cyclen, Yaz, others). You may not see the benefit of this treatment for a few months, so using other acne medications with it the first few weeks may help.
I HAVE A MOUNTAIN on my face. Someone asked me if I wanted to climb a mountain and I was like what??? Then he said the one on your face. I’m determined to get it gone in 3 days because I HAVE HOMECOMING! My face isn’t sensitive so I’m going to use toothpaste ice. I could use some key pointers though!

aggravated Gloria! well I tried some of you guy’s tooth paste -(colgate) I even put a band aide over over the pimple so it would not rub off as soon as I layed down. The pimple was on the tip of my nose, a bad place to be.
I am 11 and my pimples are really bad. I use the toothpaste regularly and the ice one. DO NOT use Colgate toothpaste with the blue and white it burns your face. When I washed it off I had scars and some of my pimples got bigger. It is better to use plain white toothpaste.

Castor oil may be a great choice for treating mild acne since it provides moisturization to the skin while helping the skin produce less sebum, which can cause acne if in excess. It also helps reduce inflammation that may be caused by acne. (21)

Note that the tendency to develop acne scars often runs in the family so if you have blood relatives who have acne scars: chances you may have to cope with the same issues. Be proactive and don’t let dead skin cells or sebum build up, as you know this is the starting point of acne. Use a daily cleanser and exfoliate regularly.
