Get at least eight hours of sleep. Sleeping kills two birds with one stone, as it helps to relax your body as well as detoxify it. If you aren’t getting enough sleep, chances are your skin hasn’t had the time or ability to renew its skin cells. Regulate your sleep cycle by going to bed at a consistent time every night and sleeping for a minimum of eight hours at least.

Acne-associated mood changes and depression have also been reported during treatment, but a 2017 meta-analysis involving 1411 cases found no increased risk of depression with isotretinoin use.  Some of the studies that reported a positive causal relationship between isotretinoin and depression included a dose-response relationship with depression of up to 3 mg/kg/day of isotretinoin; however, this high of a dose is not usually prescribed for acne.
