If you dont want to use ice, you can always wet a spoon and put it in the freezer. Then when its cold, apply it to your pimple until its no longer cold. Then repeat for better results. I did this after applying lime to my face and it works fast. I had a really huge pimple too. *Must try*
Silicone gel sheets work well with hypertrophic scars. They have been known to soften, flatten and improve the appearance of scars, but they won’t disappear totally. The most famous brand is this one.

Getting rid of acne is difficult for me but I have learned to stay patient. I remember to wash my face in the morning and at night, I always tie up my hair because I don’t give a damn on how it looks, I am trying to get rid of acne and leaving my hair down just makes it worse. The only problem I have is my eating habits, I have to make sure to drink lots of water and eat healthy, I have to resist junk food for awhile. I always moisturizer my skin because it is sensitive. The product I use are Nutrogena foaming scrub and Oxy sensitive medicated acne pads. I think the best moisturizer I have ever used would be Eau Thermale Avene hydrance cream but it is really expensive. Don’t give up on acne, just keep trying once you get used to it you can’t forget. Oh, and get lots of sleep!!
While we should remain open to holistic and home remedies, and hopefully someday get to the root of acne, at the current time there do not appear to be any holistic or home remedies that provide consistent clearing across the population.

Always check non-comedogenic or oil free label on cleansers, soaps, moisturizers, or any kind of cosmetic products you often use because they can cause over production of sebum and promote acne cosmetica.
Sometimes skin cells clog up these follicles, also known as pores. With the pores clogged, sebum gets trapped inside. Skin bacteria called Propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes) starts to grow inside the pores, too. The bacteria cause inflammation. When the clogged pore bursts open, all the sebum and P. acnes bacteria spill onto the surface of the skin, causing breakouts.
Many lotions and creams are sold at drugstores to help prevent acne and clear it up. You can try different ones to see which helps. Products with benzoyl peroxide (say: BEN-zoil peh-ROK-side) or salicylic (say: sal-uh-SIL-ick) acid in them are usually pretty helpful for treating acne. Benzoyl peroxide kills the bacteria that can lead to acne and it also can reduce swelling (puffiness) of pimples. Salicylic acid is another acne-fighting ingredient. It causes skin to dry out and peel, which can help get rid of pimples, too.

Nodules: As opposed to the lesions mentioned above, nodular acne consists of acne spots which are much larger, can be quite painful, and can sometimes last for months. Nodules are large, hard bumps under the skin’s surface. Scarring is common. Unresolved nodules can sometimes leave an impaction behind, which can flare again and again.
Wash your hair every day. While shampooing your hair so often may dry it out, it’s likely that an oily scalp is causing your forehead breakouts. Your pimples may worsen if your hair rests on your forehead. If you pull your hair back into a ponytail, you could see an improvement. Avoid using greasy hair gels, mousse and other products, because they can clog pores.

Herbal, organic, and “natural” medications. There are many herbal, organic, and natural products marketed to treat or prevent acne. The effectiveness of these agents isn’t proven and they are unlikely to have much benefit.
Washing your face with regular soap is not enough to make acne better. The best face wash for acne is effective at removing oil and dirt, but still gentle enough to use regularly without overdrying your skin. Look for topical acne medication ingredients salicylic acid and/or benzoyl peroxide in your face wash and use gentle, nonabrasive cleansing techniques.
