Thanks so much for all the suggestions-I can’t wait to try them out! Unfortunately, one of my worst habits is picking at my acne and this leads to very prominent red scabs that take quite a bit of concealer to mask when I go out in public (at home I try to keep my face clear of makeup of course). But I was wondering if anyone knew how to treat either the vibrance of the scabs, or the scabs themselves. Any tips?

Oatmeal can power you up from the inside out-and the outside in. If you soak/cook your oats and use them in mask, they can reduce the inflammation and unsightly redness that accompanies breakouts. Add some honey to your mask and you have a great recipe for a rather tasty sounding acne remedy. Keep in mind that oatmeal on its own will not cure your acne, and should be used as part of a sensible routine acne treatment. This is just the bad news it means for skin, not even going into how completely unnecessary it is altogether. Hot yoga dehydrates you to dangerous levels(even if you DO drink water constantly because it takes time for it to reach your system fully. If anything, ice cold water while being very dehydrated can put you into shock or make you nauseated if you drink too quickly) which is very bad for your body and especially your muscles. You’ll read about tea tree oil for a lot of home remedies, but will most likely see it mentioned the most when comes to skin care, specifically, acne. But why, when too much oil is clogging the pores and making you break out, would you want to use more oil?
